Meet the Trainers

Aaron Stickel, BS, CSCS, USAW, Precision Nutrition 

Aaron is the head coach and owner of Total Performance Canton and has been working in the sports performance industry for over 20 years. After playing soccer at Saginaw Valley State University and graduating with a degree in Exercise Science, Aaron served our country on a tour of duty in Iraq with the U.S. Marine Corps. After returning, he directed sports performance programs at two facilities before joining Total Performance and opening the Canton facility.

Aaron is certified through the National Strength & Conditioning Association, and specializes in combine preparation and ice dancers' off-ice training. In addition to countless youth athletes, he as also worked with the Detroit Ignition, collegiate athletes, and Olympic figure skaters. 

Erin Stickel, BS, CSCS

Erin is a member of the USFS and the P.S.A. and has experience in coaching basic skills, freestyle, choreography, and stroking. Erin was the 1995 US Junior Silver Medalist, and has competed as a member of the Senior National team and International teams. Her style revolves around taking her experience off-ice in helping skaters become the best athletes possible both on and off the ice.  

Erin graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. and has successfully completed the Senior Moves in the Field and Freestyle tests.

Jack Valutis, BS, CSAS

Jack Valutis graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science: Health Fitness. He has been certified through the International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA) as a Certified Speed and Agility Specialist and is studying for his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Jack has played a number of sports throughout his life and was an intern with Total Performance before joining the team as a trainer, making him well-versed in the coaching methodologies used here on athletes. Jack mixes his fun loving attidude with his desire to help young athletes learn and grow together to make a great environment for anyone looking to improve their fitness habits or in a specific sport. 

Isabella Cerroni, BS, BA, CSAS, CrossFit L1 ​​

Bella graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She has been certified as a CrossFit Level 1 coach and certified through the International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA) as a Certified Speed and Agility Specialist. Bella played violin from age 4 and then transitioned into sports in Middle School, running a full marathon at 17 and then shortly after began training and competing as an Olympic Style Weightlifter. She interned at Total Performance in Wixom, MI, under Jim Kielbaso and coached CrossFit at multiple gyms across the state, giving her a strength and performance perspective on training.

Bella has a compassionate yet competitive edge with a value for cultivating well-rounded athletes and promoting fitness and health as part of a sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle.
